“Reclaiming Paradise”

On October 16th, 2011 @ on a rooftop and inside a delightfully enchanted tent

hosted by our Town and Village Synagogue,

Local Faith Communities gathered to  present from each of our unique kitchens an International Food Harvest.

A Sustainable, Organic, Kosher, Halal, Vegan, All Vegetarian Feast.  There was a donation of $5 per person, and all proceeds collected ($420) were given equally to our neighborhood’s

Boy’s Club of New York (founded here in the 1870’s)

and The Girls Club of New York, founded here in the 1990s.

This was another shared event of tremendous joy, nourishment, healing, and celebration of community.
